The YPN Leadership Luncheon Series was created to provide young professionals a more in-depth opportunity to access and learn from established leaders, network with peers and provide employers opportunities to showcase their organizations to the community's emerging leaders.
The event will include networking, lunch and a presentation from the following nonprofit leaders:
Patricia Simmons, President & CEO, Akron Zoo
Hope Bradley, Executive Director, Stewart’s Caring Place
Rochelle Fisher, President & CEO, Habitat for Humanity of Summit County
The speakers will discuss their paths to their current roles, the challenges they faced throughout their careers and advice they would give up-and-coming young professionals. Additionally, they will discuss how they do BIG things on limited budgets.
The Leadership Luncheon is FREE for YP's, but space is limited to the first 35 people. This event is for YPN members only. Registration is required to attend. If you are interested in becoming a YPN member, please contact Angela Presutti at presutti@greaterakronchamber.org
Lunch and networking will start at 11:30 a.m., and the presentation will begin at noon. The presentation will be in the Komodo Kingdom.
