A new favorite. Great special and great food. The servers are great too. The pretzel sandwich was great. Love the Brussels---very large portion.

First, let me start with with I love Pub Bricco. I've been an avid patron for a long time. However, after today. I don't think I'll return.
Two people working. All the tables around us, including us, left after not being served. There was one server focusing on a large party. Over an hour there, she gave us our drinks and never returned to the table. I understand short staffed and I'm very reasonable. But no apologies or explanation of what's going on. It's bad business.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jul 14, 2015Previous reviewGreat food and great service! This is my go to place in the valley. Huge fan of their customizable burger menu. I usually order the salmon burger with truffle aioli, onions, mushrooms and sour cream. Delicious! In addition, I can't visit without ordering their house chips (the peppercorn ranch dipping sauce is amazing)!
If you're debating whether to go, definitely check it out. Well worth the trip! - Diamond W.Akron, OH03Nov 28, 2023
The staff is clueless to everything, and the food tastes like no one loves what they do!!!! The only thing I enjoyed was my bottle of wine!!! Each bite I took of my food I was adding salt!!!!

Extremely slow service. They forgot my order and then charged my a 20% tip on top of everything. Waitress didn't try to make it right at all. It was great sitting there watching everyone else eat while I had to wait another 20 minutes on top of the hour wait we had for our food.

SHAME on you, Bricco management. You have 2 young girls; one cook on duty in kitchen. The waitress in our area was overwhelmed. The parties on either side of us walked out before their food arrived. We ordered an app and a beer and didn't bother to order more; Paid our bill and left. Is there any management in Pub Bricco, at all. Why not just close 1/2 of restaurant, so waitress doesn't have to cover such a large area. I'd hate to see what happened when dinner crowd arrived. Really poor management.

Overall very nice staff but not very attentive. All of our food came out cold. And when I say cold, I mean the center of the Tater kegs were still frozen. We've had bad experiences with their food in the past but felt we should give them another chance. Drinks are okay but the food is the worst I've had in the valley by far.

Loved it! First time coming here. Got the Tuesday specials: $5 margaritas (on the rocks) which were good sized and tasty, not boozy but not weak, the $1 soft tacos (beef and chicken), discounted happy hour brussels (very generous portion and quite tasty, we are picky about these) and 1/2 southwest salad (which was quite generous), Service was very friendly and a nice pace. The food was all very fresh, good portions, and good. We will be back. Great deals for good food and drinks. Don't understand the recent negative reviews. This place has been in the valley for 20+ years. If it was no good it would not have survived that long!!

This was my first visit despite visiting the (sadly, closed) downtown Akron location and the Kent location numerous times. We came on Friday night to enjoy the nice weather and were immediately seated on the spacious patio.
I enjoyed the elderflower and blood orange martini, which was well mixed and refreshing. There's an extensive list of cocktails, and there were lots of options for beer and wine. Our server, Grace, was really friendly and let us take our time to enjoy a round of drinks before we decided on food. We went with the risotto balls (so dang good) and a couple of sandwiches. My partner had the pretzel chicken, and I had the spicy chicken wrap. Both were quite good.
The main difference between Pub Bricco and the other Bricco restaurants is that it's more casual and the menu has more of an emphasis on small plates and sandwiches. I'd definitely come back because it was an enjoyable evening with good atmosphere, drinks, and food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - C. Y.Cuyahoga Falls, OH051Jul 9, 2023
We went to the Pub last night-7:00 as we have done many times before. She got the beer battered fish dinner and I ordered the Cuban.Fish and sweet potato fries were good and the Cuban-?? Disgusting! Looked like it came from somebody else's plate.Bun(not a pressed panini) looked half eaten,a spoonful of shredded pork and a slice of very very thin ham.Sent it back and server came back with another one this time with a toasted panini and still hardly any meat.Ate half of a half and pushed it away.Didn't get charged for #1 but did for #2.$60.00 for 2 beers, glass of wine and 1 good dinner. Got some burgers on the way home. Truly disappointed.

Welp.... That was the final straw. Quality has been going downhill for a while. Last week we had problems with our order, and the fixed it (multiple problems). 2 nights ago the waitress messed up and refused to fix it. Then said some very offensive things to our group. We still left a tip, just because we didn't want her to say that we weren't going to tip anyways, and that gave her the right to be awful. She was seriously awful! She should be fired. We used to come here once or twice per month. Never again. Better restaurants in the area.

Rob, thank you so much for your five star review! We are excited that you found your meal delicious and at a value. We do offer complimentary valet Thurs-Sat for the convenience of our patrons as sometimes the lot becomes crowded quickly with people adventuring on the nearby Towpath Trail. We appreciate your feedback about the crab cake, I have shared it with our chef for review. We look forward to seeing you back at the Pub soon!
Aug 16, 2015Previous reviewIf you can get though the parking fiasco, this is a great choice for a delicious meal. Prices are about the same as TGIFridays, but this place has much higher quality of food. Reminds me of Hudson's restaurant. I had the turkey burger with jalapeños, pepper jack cheese and pickled onions on brioche. It was fantastic. My wife had a crab cake salad. She said too much breading and not enough crab. She said the white French dressing is delicious though. House chips and pickled onions as appetizers were perfect. Our friends said that the salmon sandwich was excellent, and our other friend had a green salad with berries. She's on a diet, and said it too was excellent. We need to come back here often.
