We found this place as part of our Ohio On Tap app tour. It's a solid brewery. They have a somewhat small bar area and a unique lounge-like space to the left of the bar. When we were there, there was someone on a work call in the lounge while sampling the beer. Good idea!
They have a good selection of beers, but a limited food menu. We ended up just having one drink and then moving on to the next stop on our tour. The beer was very good though - I enjoyed the Uncommon Blonde. If you're looking for a chill place to enjoy some good brew, R Shea is a good choice to check out. If you're looking for a full meal, you may want to try somewhere else.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jan 11, 2021Updated review
Oh man... this place is so good.. and it's so nice to see they are still cleaning and keeping everything spaced for Covid too.
Pepperoni sandwich of the month was totally drool worthy! This place takes the simplest foods and makes them so freaking good to drink with a beer.
The Italians quesadilla was again perfection.
They always have a great Selection of IPA's they even had a black one to try out.
You can't beat their flights.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Oct 9, 2020Previous reviewThis place is HUGE in the inside.
We love craft beer and had been to their other location but couldn't wait to try here too.
The beers come in plastic cups, which I'm assuming is because if Covid and to keep things cleaner.
They had a ton of options and ordering couldn't be easier, fill out the papers in the table with your choices and they bring it right to you.
They have a limited menu but everything we had was delicious!
Really cool atmosphere, the brewery below is really amazing to see. - Dena T.Davis, CA12716May 13, 2023
The beers were great. Lots of interesting flavors. We rented bikes and biked 9 miles to the brewery on the towpath trail. We enjoyed Cuyahoga National Park and will definitely be back if ever in the area.

Love this brewery. Great beer. Polymer is my favorite of their regular beers. A wonderful espresso caramel stout. The orange shandy pulls in the new beer drinkers still dabbling.
Food is good bar food. Sandwiches are good sized andd delicious. The Cuban and Angry Pig are two favorites. Really good beer cheese and pretzels if you're just nibblIng between beers.
Super friendly staff makes this a great stop.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jenny S.Cuyahoga Falls, OH062Nov 1, 2022
They have underage waiters/waitresses that sit at the bar and drink instead of helping customers. Won't be coming back. Maybe make them drink in the back instead of at the bar where everyone can hear them talking about getting wasted after work. Completely unprofessional.

Great brewery with tons of different options for beer. There food is also pretty good. I have been here multiple times and every time they have different beers. I usually like getting there flights so I can try different beers.
I would recommend checking this place out for a good place to hang out and have a couple of beers.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - May 27, 2021
I will be the first to admit that i am not a beer drinker. I enjoy the taste of many, but dislike how beer makes me feel. I still end up tagging along with my husband to many breweries as I watch him drink while I snack or drink something else. I'll be honest in that when first walking into R Shea, I was like "meh, this place looks boring" (I'm a visual person who loves some good thoughtful decor, which R Shea is lacking). After being seated though, we were immediately given great service by the staff. My husband ended up ordering a flight with a few of his choices and a few suggestions from the staff. Let me tell you, wow, these are some delicious beers! My husband reallly enjoyed them, even though he's a pretty picky beer drinker and I even loved them! They were sooooo good! The beers were smooth and easy to drink and had great flavor. The best was definitely the Chocolate stout that was recommended. It was like a magical dessert in beer form. We also shared the hummus for a snack and their jalapeño and cilantro hummus was the perfect consistency and flavor-a slight spice and rich. This was served with pita and veggies. A table nearby had the soft pretzel which also looked great. I would definitely try R Shea again if I'm the area!

Went here on a Saturday afternoon and had a really great time. Staff is friendly and we enjoyed the beer (Imperial Fluffernutter and Orange Mango were our favorites).
I was disappointed that they were out of Coconut Macaroon Milk Stout but the strange thing was that they had it in cans, but you weren't allowed to drink it there. Something to do with them not having the right license? Literally brewed it right there but can't pour it in a glass. Weird.
We also enjoyed the hummus and veggies plate. I really liked that they had this healthier option verses just your typical fried carb filled selection. Now if they could offer fruit or coleslaw instead of just chips with the sandwiches that would be awesome.
They have seats at the bar, some tables, and a side area where you can sit on couches and play games if you want. Definitely got a good vibe from this place and could come back again!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Cathleen D.Akron, OH53410Jul 9, 2022
Food is good. Beer is good. Cool atmosphere. Wish there were some skew ball boards and a couple arcade games.
